I know I'm suppose to hate the shoes but I just can't. I think they are fun. However I don't think they really go with the rest of the look. The shoes give off a hippie sort of vibe I think and it doesn't really work with the sleekness of the rest of the outfit. Overall, I think Kirsten looks amazing, that dress is so flattering on her. And her makeup look's lovely... the purple eyeshadow... everything's wonderful.

The ‘Melancholia’ actress chose tailored basics, including a white Dolce & Gabbana blazer and contrasting black mini dress.

great outfit, and like you all said - amazing make-up, her face look lovely.
Of course i hate shoes - i like wedges in general, and i think choosing heavy, strong shoes was good move but just not those - they are plain ugly.
