I think it was Jason - she talks about it as if it was something that happened relatively recently:

I've always preferred Kirsten with long hair though she did look amazing with that bob at the 2002 Oscars (I think it was 02 or maybe 03 - long black lace Chanel Couture dress). I hated the pixie cut. That didn't suit her AT ALL.

Thanks for the ID - I love that brand (and the newer "Girl") but it is so expensive I can only buy it on sale. Come to think of it, I think Kirsten was in one of their lookbooks.
