We’ve got some strappy ladies on our hands, as actresses like Kirsten Dunst are taking to the streets with their across-body bags. There’s something a little 80’s and a little sporty about this look, which is only going to get bigger next season. We noted the long-strapped bags worn messenger style on the Fall 07 runways of Costume National and Marc by Marc Jacobs, and have recently seen them popping up in celeb street style.



One of the biggest proponents of this hands-free look is Rachel Bilson, who slings her small 2.55 Chanel classic bag around her body on a highly regular basis ($2500, chanel.com for boutiques and availability). Kirsten Dunst also favors the little bag, long strap look, as she’s seen here wearing Mayle’s Baby Billie Bag. We spotted the white Baby Bille on sale at the Manhattan Mayle store last week, but it’s also available in indigo online ($385, stevenalan.com). Jessica Alba prefers a slightly larger sized bag, as she wore Prada’s Gaufre Messenger Bag while shopping in New York ($2680, bergdorfgoodman.com). Another bigger bag gal is Reese Witherspoon, who wears her trusty Lanvin Kansas Bag everywhere.

Little news... but well at least something...

Kirsten Dunst, hanging out with two girlfriends while bartenders cleaned up for closing time at North London pub Hawley Arms (where regulars include Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, Pete Doherty and Dunst's boyfriend, Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell). Dunst was wearing a gray jacket, a short gray skirt, flat shoes and a hat a la Frank Sinatra, according to an onlooker.
