This dress actually benefits from the way her pose emphasises the slit. It is a gorgeous dress but I wish her hair and make up were different and a bit more dramatic.

I read quite a few reviews too (probably the same one's ) and it seems like Kristen is being received very well. It seems like the movie is good but not amazing or anything but it's more on the positive side. Still great news for Kristen!

I think this may be my favorite gown shes worn yet, the shape and embroiderey are so lovely and its so flattering on her, I like that she left her hair down and more casual, definitely makes her look more comfortable in the gown

For me, the Balenciaga gown is one of my least favorite looks on her ever (I can't say it's the worst because of the Marchesa she wore to the SWATH premiere in London...which was just...unspeakably bad). I agree the fit isn't right and I don't even really like the embroidering. It reminds me of a "granny" dress but not in the good retro way. There's something about the style up top that doesn't works with her arms, shoulders, and bust. Maybe it's just a slight posture problem? In any case, for me, the whole thing from the waist up just doesn't flatter her.

I loved her first Cannes outfit with the Balenciaga pants though. They could have chosen a better shirt but my love for the blazer and pants eclipses that.

She looked phenomenal at the photocall ( her sunnies) but her gown at the premiere, I don't know, lacked movement? It didn't look like she carried the dress very well, or at least didn't come across as very elegant..
