If leather leggings are dated someone needs to tell Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo and Mary Kate Olsen-- all of whom have worn them this year.

^OMG... why must she look so... pedestrian on the red carpet. Looking at everyone else at the event... its like who invited these two reality tv starts... Everyone else wore such pretty, designer dresses ... and Lauren wore a cheap looking short and a badly fit top with Khols accessories... they looked out of place imo.

I don't think the outfit is inappropriate. It's a preppy polished look. She's wearing a dressy short and blouse. Outfits like Lauren's are very common on a polo event. Dresses aren't the only way to go. I remember Olivia Palermo wore green leather shots, a sweater and slippers/loafers a few months ago. I like Lauren's outfit and love her Kohl's wedges too Don't care for Lo's outfit though.

I think both her blouse and shorts are Paper Crown Spring 2012. Her wedges are from her Kohl's line but most of you probably knew that.
