if anything straight leg would come back as more wearable. the skinny trend didn't start as a jump into it, it developed over time.

She looks really pretty in the pictures style_savvy posted. Not a big fan of the outfit though.

You know, I've always worn flare jeans, whether or not they're "out"... I don't like wearing skinnies... to me there are no other options... boot cut or flares... nothing extreme.

well, most people have no choice but to wear skinnies or narrow legs, because all of the voluminous, drapey tops out there. If you wear to voluminous things, chances are one might look likw a cow.
I think that is the fashion rule, no matter what the style is, bigger on top, smaller on bottom and vice versa, higher bottoms, shorter tops, lower waisted, longer waisted.
i have not seen many tops to accommodate flares out there.
It's just chic. If you proportion it right, it will work for you. If you don't have the confidence too, it's a different story.
It's like chunky shoes, they look cheap as heck, unless you balance it with the right style.

lostinemotion ^^ I agree with what you say. But of course, I wear bootcut/flares with fitted tops. I don't have long, slim legs for skinnies... I am rather short (almost 5'5) with toned, slightly muscular legs... I would never be able to pull it off without looking like a goof... and I love wearing heels... I truly believe that skinnies aren't for everybody, and that anybody can wear flares, therefore it's not just a trend.

I've never seen her with her hair styled like that. She looks so young.

I'm 5-6, with untoned legs
But, I am about 115 pounds. People would say I have hips. I def know how to pull off the look though. I live in NYC and LA..so I see how girls look very comfy in that look.
For me, because of my hips, when I wear bootcuts, it makes my thighs look wider.
I'll try to post some pics soon in the skinny jean scene thread. :-)

^ Would love to see pics lost! I'm surprised your a size 26, 5'6" and 115 lb seems quite small.

I think I have small bones, but more fleshy, if that makes sense. I have a small waist, I'm told, but no one denies my thighs!
I guess it's kind of how rachel bilson looks in photos...she is no where near big, but she has that curve. I am just about 4 inches taller than her..lol
I kept trying to take a photo in the mirror, but it flashes the entire pic out. LOL
