Quite disappointed , the dress is very safe. I know she wasn't nominated so I understand that she might not wnat to come out in a statement dress but if even Kate Hudson can show up in her extravagant Versace number I'd wish Lupita and her stylist would put a bit more effort into it. The dress is lovely but a bit too lovely, almost generic.

undecided about the hair but I love that she's still having fun with it. I hope she goes to the SAG before the Oscars. I want her to impress me again please !

She looked better on film. The camera really didn't capture the beauty of this look.

When I first saw it, I thought I liked - but I think I just got caught in up the Globes excitement because I loved that collection and glad there dress was worn. But I agree, she suits the more Calvin aesthetic of monochromatic looks. This just looks too busy in some shots.

Another disappointment of the night.
I really liked the dress on the runway, but not on Lupita

So disappointed. The hair is weird, and the dress not inspiring. The makeup is gorgeous though.

Again, have to agree with you! She's got a tremendous figure, this was such a letdown. As usual her skin is glowing though.

It's not that bad, it's a bit safe but overall she's lovely.

Honestly, all these comments about her hair are both confusing and gross to me, but whatever. I do wish she would've chosen another dress, although she did look great, especially when she was presenting in glasses. But surely she'll be at the SAG awards and the Oscars so hopefully she pull out some wowing looks.

I loved the G Valli gown on her, I thought it was soft and pretty and the colors were beautiful on her.

Ditto. I also liked the elongated neck / Neferiti / 1970s Afro hairstyle hommage that her look created

Can anyone ID Lupita's matching bag and shoes (the latter, which I love)
