I've seen about 8 episodes of the first season, and i have never seen so much drinking and smoking in a show in my life! i think the red head is pretty though , i like what they put her in

It's full of her one liners and words of wisdom.

As for the smoking, here is quote from the creator.

"Doing this show without smoking would've been a joke. It would've been sanitary and it would've been phony."

I have a few miscellaneous stills left over which I'll post soon.

ah I love this show and the styling is fab. The men's suits are so perfect. The women's dresses - perfect. sometimes i literally wonder how they get Joan into those dresses. I'm sure they must sew her into them sometimes. Really the styling is just absolutely amazing.

That is brilliant thanks for sharing and for all the wonderful screencaps.

Betty has a fantastic wardrobe aswell, and i love seeing her character progress in the second season.I wish they would give Betty a nice handbag like Kelly to carry, i mean at that time and a woman like her would defo have it.

That's what it was like back then. People didn't know the risks of drinking and smoking. You would've never heard anyone say: "I need to give up smoking!".

Rachel has some great looks too, I wish she would make a comeback. I really liked her character...really she and Betty have the best style. Joan usually sticks to one color and isn't so experimental.

Don looks like a movie star.
