She beat a tennis player that just had a baby and was playing her first grand slam after a few years back, I wouldn't get too excited. She has two more rounds before she faces Justine Henin, that will be Maria's last day at the 2008 Aussie Open.

^She didn't play any top players in those tournaments. This was her first real test against a grand slam winner and it shows she has a long way to go. Does Maria have any different colors to the dress she's wearing at the Aussie Open? The white is boring.

so i guess, thats all she has for AO. btw sure, davenport in her current form wasn't a big challenge... but it was a tricky opponent for a second round game ! maria today played some great tennis... shes looking in a vGood form !
