woaw so there's only roland garorros left!!she suprises me a lot!!i totally didn't expect her to win another grandslam!!!=S
but it was clear that she was going to get it when she beat henin!!!

she played against ana ivanovic (Srb) in the final! and won (yay!) 7-5, 6-3.

she didnt lose a set all tournament... played against jelena jankovic in the semis and justine henin in the quarter finals.

i would say it was difficult for her to play sooo well as australia seemed to be going for ivanovic.. !!

Thanks for all the pics, I am so glad maria won! She certainly deserved it as she was definitely the best player throughout the tournament, and the fact that she had such a disappointing year last year, makes the win so much better!
Her winning speech was amazing too!

I totally agree with that line. she looks very snobbish and unsociable, now that I watch her on the press conference.
