Nice to see she won especially since the American media seemed to focus on every other nominee and not as much on her. I haven't actually seen the movie yet, but I can tell from what I did see that she's deserving of acknowledgment.

I don't even understand why angelina was nominated! however good is 'a mighty heart', it was not an acting performance, the role doesn't show her acting abilities, IMO she's nominated because she's angelina jolie and because the movie was moving, but she's not a great actress in it. at least far less than marion cotillard. First of all watched La Vie en Rose and have to say her performance was incredible. i really felt that she was Edith Piaf and not some actress portraying her. I highly recommend the movie!
