there must be some sort of bleaching thing you could use... i would've suggested a bleaching pen but you definitely would not get the same effect

Ches129, i do my jeans like this....use sandpaper or a wire brush to wear the thread so it looks natural and then a hole will appear and you can easily make it bigger. Hope this helps.

i'v done a pair like this, i used a serated knife, like steak knife and a cheese grater 2, it worked pretty well
