I do agree with what is being said on this thread.
They are fully aware of their place in the public domain and to shirk away from it is quite an insult to fans. People like me from Britain, who haven't seen their films etc only are interested in them as fashion role models and they should embrace the admiration they are given for their style (like Nicole Richie)
But I do believe that a policy should be enforced against paparazzi. When I see videos (like on tmz.com) of them literally encircling and pushing quite viciously over stars (or more like prey) it does appear quite frightening and if this happened to Jane Doe on the streets, the police would definitely take action because it is harrassment.
The paparazzi need to adopt a policy of only being able to be within such a distance of the people they are photographing. This would not mean losing the quality of pictures taken since cameras available are very advanced with fantastic zoom ranges.
Physical distance should be respected as it is also reflective of personal space. That's my opinion anyway.

I'm sorry but these two are annoying beyond measure. Why on earth are they going to a celebrity-filled VMA afterparty then hiding their faces like they didn't expect to photographed? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. If they don't want their picture taken I would suggest not going at all the hottest clubs and shopping on the most famous streets. They should just hole up in their mansions and look miserable. They really know how to take all the fun out of being a celebrity.

^^^ you have to keep in mind that they are two very private people. both olsens pose and smile for the papparazi when at events. however when they're shopping, its understandable why they are reserved. they like their privacy. and plus you don't want people to take pictures of you when you look like ***.

I agree...I can understand why they would do it when out shopping, but at something like the VMA's-thats just crazy and ridiculous and quite frankly stupid to think that they could hide!

...I love Ash's outfit in Sydney when out with greg though...anyone know if its her black leather jacket she's wearing?

How tall is Ashley? I just read something that said she was 5'3 but I thought she was shorter. I am 5/4 and would like to know how close to my heiht she is, so I can tell how I'd look in some of her outfits...
