Silas Botwin's (main character's son) wacky evangelical Christian love interest who also loves to smoke pot. An interesting character at least. I don't think she sounded too bad in the tiny clips so far. Maybe not how I'd have played the words, and slightly too valley girl, but fine. I think the writing will help carry her through, most though, it seems like it could be extremely funny. Silas isn't such a great actor a lot of the time but the writing makes up for it.

It does sound really weird to hear one of them speak though, all we've really made for 3 years is pap pics and magazine interviews (which highlights how dependent they are on the paps to stay in the limelight and thereby sell clothes etc even though they hate them).

Have trouble telling the Olsen twins apart? Help is at hand: The sisters have taken to dressing like polar opposites when they appear in public together, as they did at this weekend's Hampton Social concert. Ashley (above, left) pulled together her current favorite mix of Alaïa and smart basics, while Mary-Kate (above, right), the more bohemian sib, showed up swathed in layers of black, with her trademark pounds of costume jewelry and a long striped shawl. Classic Ashley, hippie Mary-Kate. Got it?

well she mentioned she has been looking at scripts and she like the role and they liked her...its something new and challenging....

i never thought marykate and ashley could act. ever. they suck at acting. they are bland and have no depth. perhaps that was due to the character. having said that i still love them for their style and the way they carry themselves and havent got caught up in the downsides of being young in hollywood ( a la lindsay lohan). their voices have also bothered me for years, esp mk's. however i liked the two interviews that were posted because she seems more likeable, grown up, and less snobbish the interview.

i remember when they were on TRL a couple years ago and mk came off as such a bitch. it was during the height of her ED- so maybe she was just really hungry & irritated (sorry, hehe)

Yeah they should just stay "mysterious" and stay away from acting...MK can't act, I don't know bout Ashley but Im sure its the same.

You know what is sort of comical? Usually, people like actors/actresses because they fall in love with the characters they play in movies or on tv and they sort of feel that they ARE the characters. For example, I love SJP because in my mind, she is "Carrie Bradshaw", Mark-Paul Gosselaar because he is "Zack Morris", Sarah Michelle Gellar because she is "Buffy", and so on and so on. Anyway, we all like Ashley and MK because they are Ashley and MK. I doubt any of us love them simply because they are "Michelle Tanner".

Sure they've always traded on their actual names for the brand, but most of the MKA we "know" is based on as much of a character act as Buffy etc, ie: They built an empire which eclipsed any one role of theirs on their image or personas which is certainly almost as much of an act as a film or TV role. Not that they probably aren't good people but what we think of as "them" is probably no closer to the true them as Buffy is to SMG. Same with Paris, Nicole or any other celebrity known mostly from the tabloids or fashion nowadays like MKA.

i think naomi because she's so much taller than ashley and i think that sandals are not suitable for short people..but i like the black color better
