Sure she went to university, but her parents had the money to get her in everywhere she wanted, she never had to lift a finger. I don't get why she is so praised, style-wise too. I think Michelle is much more interesting. She wears both cheap and expensive items, and I'm sure she has other things to do than standing around in expensive clothes doing nothing.

I think they started polling the potential first lady's around 2004...it made a lot of sense this time around since Cindy and Michelle really injected themselves into the race by doing rallies for their husbands. But she has 4 years to get her ratings up amongst the public...

It's wrong to set both women against the standards of separate time eras. The 60's and now are very different, esp. in regards to the role and expectations of women.

It is pretty obvious based on your comments that you've never read a biography of Jackie and her accomplishments, so I will just leave it at that. Michelle is amazing as well.
