She always has a slight air of vulnerability about her, but for some reason I sensed it more on Sunday. That photo of her and Jake says it all I think. I loved the dress, it worked so well with her hair, it was all very delicate and slightly ethereal and in the sea of plums and red's it was just a breath of fresh air

They met on Dawson's Creek and are best friends. Busy is godmother to Matilda.

oh, thanks guys! i must have stopped watching by the time she came on... or i just don't remember it because i kind of have this weird instant-hate reaction to busy phillips every time i see her...

not to derail the thread though..

i liked her oscar look but i feel like she should have done something more dramatic since she was nominated...
she probably looked better on tv but i think these pics are making her look too monotone.
