I agree...the bottom portion of the dress is nothing like the runway...it doesn't do anything for her shape

Second look at the runway version and I'm convinced it's fit for tall girls. Even in those Elie Saab heels (gorgeous), it ain't working for her height disadvantage. She looks chubby/pregnant.

I went through all Christian Dior and pulled hopeful looks Mila might wear to the Globes. If she doesn't wear Dior, well. That was a lost opportunity. Marion and Natalie both wore lots of Dior during award seasons, however. So I'm hopeful! I doubt she'd wear a fullout ball gown since she's attending only to present. I'm predicting an understated glam look.

Glamour seems to be with me on this one!

My one hope is she's inventive with her hair. I wasn't happy with her Globes hair last year. I'd like something softer like this.

SS12 RTW

Top choice from the latest season.

The color might not work on Mila, as she's pretty tan, but love the detailing.

Resort 2011

Natalie Portman wore a similar dress but this color and the beading details would look contrast beautifully against Mila's skintone.

Clean white.

Again with the color and beading.

Spring 2008 RTW

Mila's a knockout in bold colors like reds and greens.

Wow, I'd love to see Mila wearing the second dress - the white one - frieda posted! I think she looks good in lighter colors... Well, actually she looks good in almost everything IMO. Anyway, the hair from the Russian premiere of Friends With Benefits was amazing too.

Can't wait till the Golden Globes! Happy she's presenting!

Also, that green Vera Wang she wore last year? I just found out that was customed and made specifically for her in FOUR days. Maybe she'll get some custom Dior. I'd love to see her in some rich colors.
