Most original Star style?

Beyond the designer-clad stars who dominate today's tabloids are inspiring stars who opt for a more personalised look and ensemble whilst making public appearances. Some shun the stylists and are often seen adorning the most in demand vintage peices or coordinate their look to compliment the trends of the season. Such stars include:

- Mary Kate Olsen
- Ashley Olsen
- Gwen Stefani, naturally
- Rachel Bilson

To me, Cate Blanchette is always original and daring. She pulls off most interesting looks with grace and elegance....outfits that could look ridiculous on other starlets.

^I disagree.....Chloe Sevigny seems to be very daring and reckless with her outfits....often gets it wrong as well in my opinion
Kate Moss is very consistent and plays it safe....I personally think her style is a taad...dare I say...overrated?

(I'm so gonna be bombarded with hate mail now.....) I emphasise the 'tad' here.

I agree susie, I think she's overrated as a model and for what she wears...never got her appeal.

I'm not much of a celeb buff...I'm trying to think of someone not too typical.

She's definitely an original! As are Cate Blanchett & Gwen.

Probably too general of a statement I made there. I should clarify and say that I feel alot of the emerging young stars are heavily influenced by Kate... e.g. Nicole, LiLo, Rachel, etc. And I, personally, think that MK falls into this category

I def. agree with you about MK.....in fact, she's influenced by Kate in a bad way....I mean where does that 'thousand layer' way of dressing even come from???

I agree with you about Kate though, too. I love her style, but often times, if someone is wearing a shirt and a pair of pants, they're said to be copying Kate. So in essence, you'd have to be naked to NOT copy Kate
