#1964 I love her face. There's something very pure about it. Her skin looks immaculate.

And now she doesn't have any style. I don't think she' cares about fashion. Not evreyone has to be interested in fashion. It's okay in my book.

I love natalie! True she isnt a style maverick; I mean we dont see her with a new 'It' bag every other week and Louboutins but thats so good! AT least shes not following trends or being a try-hard (as much sa I like Louboutins they're on over-kill atm)

Agreed.
That's what I meant, sort of. I'm not sure interest in fashion is always trivial, though it often is.

Plus she's a bit like Angelina Jolie, with a face like theirs you don't need a style.

My friend has been watching the bonus of one of the star wars film lately and at one point the actors meet for a reading. Natalie is just wearing a white shirt. Damn that face. Fresh and pure. No make up. Baby skin. Flawless. I often forget about how beautiful she is when I see her in photographs or when her hair distracts from her feature but once in a while I get a glimpse of her on screen and BAM ! I'm stopped dead in my tracks. I have to watch.

And your icon! How my goodness! I like her face and those wonderful eyebrows .My icon looks like the picture of a troll compared to yours! hehe Poor Asia.

^But you can still look put together and like a woman as in Angelina's case. Having an interest in fashion doesn't have to mean over the top adornment. My favorite style icon Audrey Hepburn is proof of that. I do think Natalie is beautiful at times, she's sometimes goofy as hell, but that just adds to her appeal I guess. Her style is like a hold over from her college (or maybe elementary school days). She CAN step that up without becoming this total slave to fashion that she so fears. As for her being "above such trivial notion", well that's just a bit of bull****...

Yeah I think Angelina looks better. She has a stylist though.I don't find interest in fashion trivial either . It can be but not always. I don't know Natalie views on fashion really. Or on anything less for that matter. Does she fear being a slave to fashion or his it your perception of her non style style ? I just see her as someone who likes to be in comfy clothes and generally don't care about fashion. I know tons of people like that. They don't fear being a slave to fashion .They just don't care at all about it. But maybe I'm wrong about Natalie. I don't know anything about her personality and to be honest I don't want to know. I prefer to keep the mystery.Actors rarely have anything interesting to say. And when they do it's often about their craft not about them.

All i mean is ,to me, it's not a sin to not care about fashion. People shoudn't hold it against you. At the end of the day we have to admit that fashion is not that important. Maybe that's what Kateelle meant by "such trivial notion". I don't know but it somehow irks me that some people find Nicole Richie classy-or let say classier than her trashy friends_ because they like the way she dresses.

It's almost as if anyone who looks put together nowadays MUST have a stylist. I didn't say it was a sin to not care about fashion, but anyway everyone no matter how scruffy, glam or non-fashiony they are is sporting some sort of look whether they'll admit to this or not.

I used to think the same way about Angelina but someone posted an interview of her stylist in her thread and she said she styled Angelina all the time. Yep she has a stylist buying her black tanks. She also styles Maddox, and the other kids now I guess. Crazy uh ? I guess she has more important things to do than buying clothes.

And yes everyone has a look. I don't get where you want to go with this ? We all take a decision when we put some clothes on. You,me, Natalie Portman , the whole world.
