Ok Mary, this is one where I have to say, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?! There is nothing I like about this outfit, it can't be redeemed.

Danish Royals in Vietnam (Day 5)

November 6, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag

The Danish royals took a stroll in the rain during their visit to the the Minh Mang Temple in the imperial city of Hue. Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Prince Frederik and Princess Mary were the sixth day of their official visit to Vietnam.
The royals didn’t let the rain dampen their enthusiasm as they saw the sights, took photos and interacted with their hosts. Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik put on colorful ponchos to ward off the rain. Prince Frederik and Princess Mary didn’t bother with the less-than-fashionable plastic raingear, and made do with light jackets and the ubiquitous giant umbrellas.

I'm surprised no one has posted her beautiful blue lace evening dress. By far the most stunning outfit of the tour! I wish I could figure out how to post photos. Maybe I will try to find a link to another site.

I agree the above outfit is not her best, but she is on paar with the rest of the family.

I love her teal day outfit. The dress she wore in Australia some years ago. I wasn't a big fan of it then. But now with the beige jacket, belt, gloves and hat I really like it.

Ilike the ruffle evening dress. The black bow just makes it different enough.

She looks stunning in teal and blue.

That dress is so stunning. I wouldn't want to see that dress on anyone else. It's made for her.

Last Photos of the Danish Royal Family’s Vietnam Visit

The Danish royals have wrapped up their visit to Vietnam, but I still have a few photos to show you. Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Prince Frederik and Princess Mary have described in a press conference how much they’ve enjoyed their visit, and how they look forward to an even better relationship between the two countries.

One of the last events that Queen Margrethe and Princess Mary attended was one in support of a campaign for better traffic safety in Vietnam. The royal ladies encouraged the use of helmets, and put on theirs on top of their hats. Those hats must be held in place by pins pretty well, and it’s not a simple matter to take them off in order to get the helmets on!

Before they left, the royals met with the press on November 6, 2009 at the Thaodien Village, Vietnam. They were all very relaxed, looking as though they’re just enjoying a vacation in a tropical resort. Prince Henrik and Princess Mary even shared a hug, something we don’t see often in royal families.

Today, Princess Mary attended the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the ‘Rights of the Child’ conference. She paired a loosely-knotted black scarf with her dark blue textured coat.
