I can't help but think the relationship is for press for the movie ( which is bombing)...

i know ,the timing is so perfect for their movie which isn't doing so well. I didn't think Reese would do this kind of thing. oh well...

I don't think that's the point. Reese's divorce was final only two weeks ago, so she's obviously now doesn't mind being public about her relationship. I'm not sure she'd go this far for a movie..it's not like her career is dependent on it.
