Ryan Gosling sports a timeless look at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 30-year-old actor donned a black velvet Ferragamo suit, a white shirt with pearl buttons by Lavin, black Patton leather shoes by Ferragamo, and a Hugo Boss black velvet bow tie.

Ryan is nominated for his performance in Blue Valentine, a project that he called “a once and a lifetime opportunity.”

On the red carpet, Ryan met up with the film’s director Derek Cianfrance.

68th Annual Golden Globe Awards arrivals - 01/16
The first batch of Ryan on the Red Carpet with Derek at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood. He looks very sleek in a what seems to be a velet suit.

I wonder if he has a stylist for these major events (I guess he does). If so, he/she does such an amazing job, because all these outfits are so Ryan!

The velvet suit, oversized bow tie, and patent lace-ups -- TOO FRESH!!
