She looked fantastic! I'm trying to remember the last time she looked this good! I also love that she is wearing vintage Dolce and Gabbana. I'm trying to remember the last time they designed something good.
^ They don't, many women haven't. Daphne Guiness, Lady Gaga and Charlotte Gainsborough are good examples of women who dress un-sweet but are still admired. But when it's a 17 year old girl, you wonder how much of it is genuine and how much of it is just for show. That's the problem Lady Gaga has.
Why do girls/women always have to look "sweet" to gain approval?
^no they don't, they could do something bad if they want, but at least try to wear something more appropriate with their age and also the location of their appearances!
and they're actually the icon of lots people, so at least show they're give a good influence to the others!

Oh come on, most of the people commenting were females. There's no pseudo-anti-feminist sentiment here.
What was expressed was that for the first time in a long time, Taylor was dressed appropriately for an event which showed that she appreciated and respected her environment and the people organising the event. She was also really pleasant and acted her age "sweet" - nervous and giggly - in her interview. That is endearing, as opposed to the faux-rock-gothic-chick image which she affects most of the time.
