^thanks fot the pics.. she has such amazing legs in that bed one. Actually the whole ballet theme really suits her because she has the face, body and angles for it.

Funny you say that about her legs. For example, at the Coco adverts, she told somebody else's legs were attached to the picture, they weren't hers.

I think she's photogenic and makes amazing music these days. I don't think I can say anything about her acting, I've seen too little of it. I don't know what I think about the Vogue cover...she's a celeb after all, and I'm not very fond of celebrities in general, especially if they're messing up with fashion thinking they are models. And I won't be liking it if it has an interview. Not another long story about her personal life, please. She should shut up about it in public.

Funny you should that about her talking about her private life. Up until she was a mother, she was very private. Being a fan of hers and Johnnys, I quite like it when she talks about their private life. It's sweet to get a glimpse of it.

However, I can understand what you're saying about celebrities getting into the fashion industry, and I don't think a magazine like Vogue would be somewhere there should be an interview. It should really be photoshoot only.

I think she could easily do that though. She's done several advertising campaigns for Chanel, and La Redoute, so whilst she's no supermodel like Kate Moss, she's still part of the fashion industry.

Well if it would be Moss on the cover I'd be writing a complain to Roitfeld! But that has nothing to do with this discussion.

I know she was quite reserved. I don't take these interviews, as sweet as they sound, as the truth. She could be lying every word she's saying.

I think she should stop doing interviews, she does them only to get publicity, she doesn't actually have anything important to say in them. It would be great if she'd be courageous enough to only do songs. I her newer music.

What's her newest music? I thought Bliss was the latest album she had?

I'm meaning Bliss, her tour in -01 and the Atomik Circus soundtrack. I don't think I care that much of her older stuff.

I think that's everyone's own opinion. I'm so disgusted by Moss lately that I think Vanessa looks better.

Oh God I hope we're not going to get a Moss vs. Paradis battle again. I get sick of those because I personally like them both.

I don't see why she would lie, and if she does it's upto her. I'm happy to believe that what she says is the truth.

The fact that she does interviews for publicity is surely the truth of any celebrity, fashion related, music related, film related or otherwise. She doesn't openly discuss her work for charity (she's a sponsor of Reves I believe) like other celebs, but she does talk about her private life a bit, she talks about her work... what is lacking, what makes her interviews un-important? Also, what does courage have to do with it? I bet there aren't many celebrities out there who don't do any promo work and just go ahead and do their songs, films etc.

Well, Sean Penn gives very few interviews for example.

In my opinion, Paradis doesn't talk only "a bit" about her personal life. She talks a lot about it (of course the magazines love to write more on their own account about it too), but at the same time says she's a very private person. I just can't help it, but I think talking about your private life publicly on Elle magazine is cheap and desperate. She chooses to talk about it herself, she could stop if she wanted to. I don't recall her ever talking about it before Depp.

I think she should either do no interviews at all or talk about what matters, which is her work. But you're right, it is good that she doesn't talk about her charity work!

I'm actually thinking that actors/singers/models/artists/writers/directors/photographers etc should only express themselves through their work. There are no reasons for doing interviews.

I think they do it in answer to those who are fans of them. Many fans want to see the inside of their lives, not just their work on the outside. They oblige because the fans pay their salaries, and because some of them seem genuinely nice.

I've not read many interviews of Vanessa's, so I can't really comment on whether she talks about her private life too much. In the interviews I have read though, I think she just sounds like a happy woman who wants to tell the world of her bliss. I'm sure there are many non-celebrities who like to do that, and take whatever chance they can to get the kids photos out. Maybe Van started talking about her private life after she met Johnny for exactly those reasons.

I won't comment on Sean Penn. I'm still bitter about his winning the Best Actor Oscar in 2004.

And hey, Kate Moss doesn't give any interviews. Another celeb who doesn't have to do them in order to be popular.

I don't think you should give your personal life to fans, especially when I think those fans who want to know about it are usually 13 and keen on Depp's cheekbones.

I just cannot understand why her work isn't enough to keep some "fans" interested.
