I don't really like that song that much either, so you're not the only one.

I think you'd be weird if you'd like it! I like Variations Sur Le Même T'aime album somewhat, and I do find her older songs cute, but I wouldn't buy them as albums. So I don't really adore them.

I used to own Bliss a couple years back, but then I sold it. Dumb me. I thought I didn't like her music anymore.

She should be releasing her new album in 2007. I heard it's already been recorded. She's also appearing in some children's musical that's being recorded to a cd, and released this November.

Apparently the Vogue Paris November cover is going to Paris Hilton.

I don't know if I'm actually disappointed about Paradis not getting the cover (it did sound a bit far-fetched), but HILTON. I have no words to describe the disgust.

OMG. The world is officially going to hell. It's like my worst nightmare. If this is true then for shame Vogue. FOR SHAME!

It is a shame, and I'm completely disgusted that they'd put Paris on the cover, but there is still hope for next month so keep your fingers crossed 'til then

I think she looked prettier when she was younger, just because she looked plumpier.

Her thinness adds a sharp tone to her face. It just looks to harsh now. She should gain a few pounds.

Her face has certainly gotten sharper over the years, but I still find her beautiful in photoshoots. I do however find it hard to look at her now, and then look at photos from the early nineties and then see the same woman in them.

Some examples of the early nineties Vanessa:

Model: Vanessa Paradis
Photographer: Mark Borthwick
Magazine: Sky Magazine
Issue: September 1992

Icon4 Hot off the press!

News just in people, Vanessa and Johnny are finally planning to marry (after 8 years of co-habiting bliss). They plan to wed next summer in a villa, I believe in Ibiza? I wish I could give you link to the article I read but it keeps on shutting down on me!
Check out this website http://lipstick.com to read all about it

Eww! Is it a fashion magazine or an ad for herpes prevention? If it's the latter I can understand putting Paris on the cover.

I like how Van looked younger, but I'm glad she doesn't pout as much anymore.

She certainly was a beauty. Not saying she isn't now...just in a different way.

I never see her as a beauty...there's something in her that appeals to me, but I'm not sure if she is beautiful compared to models for example, who can be almost perfect in their looks.

But I do like her, especially in Chanel Haute Couture.

^I'd like to make a correction to that...I don't think she has even that "imperfect beauty" (ie which Moss is often described to have [not my personal opinion]). There's just something that's appealing in her, and while her style is often a hit-or-miss, when it's a hit it's a hit.

I agree WhiteLinen. I think part of her appeal is that she is a different kind of beauty, who doesn't really try to be like the rest of the pack. On the red carpet you always get a sense of her own personal style, not the latest trend. And I think that makes her appealing, whether it works or not.

I like that I can tell her from all the other models because she's more distinctive. I think that's what makes her so appealing. Most of the models out today I can't tell one from the other.

Only reason I know Moss is because she's so much older than the others and the newer models are actually making her look less like a waif.
