I don't think Scarlett is wearing a modified version of that dress. Not just because the straps/neckline are completely different, but there seems to be a sheer overlay on the top half of her dress, the wrap around the waist is different, and on the bottom half of the dress on the runway there is a sheer overlay layer that isn't on Scarlett's. That said, it could just be that they changed around the overlay on Scarlett's version and tied it differently, but at what point does it just become a different dress?
eta: I love love love Michelle Obama in the Mcqueen and I haven't seen her wear any of his other stuff, but glad to see someone wearing an interesting collection. That teeny tiny pagoda shoulder is so perfect for her role and the suit. I just wish they hadn't done that to her hair. WHY?!! Last edited by Meg : 05-08-2008 at 09:54 PM. |
