kate hudson in balmain reminded me of when she wore that colorful valentino gown, but not to the same effect...
her hair seems too casual this time out...

i think i'm the only one who loves jamie lynn sigler in calvin klein...
she looks sophisticated and elegant, and the neckline of the halter is very flattering to her neckline...
and her hair is up by the way...

With Kate Hudson though, her hair is casual because that's what kind of personality she has (or what people percieve her to have). She's got that slightly hippie/carefree thing going on and so I'd much rather see her looking a bit casual rather than overly dolled up like some others, because that's who she is and you can tell her personality really comes through in what she's wearing and how she's styled. She is definitely my favourite from the Sag's just because everyone else looks so blah, conventional and almost false, like they're all trying to steal the limelight or something!!

No you're not the only one! A lot of people in the SAG thread said they liked it. I like it. Its different from all the other gowns. Glitzy gowns can get repetitive and boring so I think it was a refreshing choice.

Im usually not a fan of Elie Saab, they remind me of pagent dresses, but I thought Christina wore that dress well, it had a 20's vibe to it which I liked

I saw her interview on the red carpet and she said that L'Wren made it especially for her. She made it sound like the dress was made from scratch, but clearly it was just modifed a bit.

There is just something that seems so off about almost everyone at the SAG awards.

Ugg.... almost all the SAG outfits were dissapointing. Everything looks better on the models, imo.

Thanks for all the posts everyone!
