So sweet! it brought back happy memories from when I watched her movies years ago
I watched The Breakfast Club last week and all this week I couldn't remember where I've seen this girl. She played the mom in the secret life! Finally!!!

I'm actually not sure, Wikipedia says it was a Hong Kong/Chinese/French production, but they speak English and it was shot in Nevada. I probably wouldn't put it on my list, just because of the language.

Of the ones I've seen so far, A Separation was wonderful (as expected). House was just completely weird. At first I didn't have a clue what was going on, but I enjoyed it after a while. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was really good and made me regret not seeing it sooner. The Host was good as well, I don't usually like Asian horror, but this one had a really good balance between horror/tension and comedy. It wasn't too silly and goofy, or ridiculously gory.

Right now I am working on Seven Samurai, which I've put off watching before because of it's length.

Unless you're a die-hard SW fan or have money to dispose, don't bother to go see it. The 3D effect was so badly done, that many times I took of my glasses and it was exactly the same (I'm still weeping over my 12 euros tbh ).

Guys, who watched the Artist how was it? Did you like it? I've got an invitation to watch a film tomorrow (feb 14 ) and I'm not sure what movie should I choose: One for the Money, Man on a Ledge or The Artist, WDYT?

I'm still making my way through it... been about two weeks now. I really don't get the fuss, (unless the last half is suddenly amazing.) But your other 2 options don't sound that good either, so in that case, I'd probably see The Artist, just because we all know its going to win the Oscar, and its always good to see the nominated films... even if they are completely overhyped.

So is it completely silent? or do you get some music?

I've been procrastinating so much on The Artist but I feel like after watching The Turin Horse, I can endure anything!

023. High Anxiety (1977) - I though I wasn't gonna like this cuz it spoofs my fave director, Hitchcock, but I was quite funny
024. The Help - looooved this movie people say that it left out, made light of, or skated over a lot of racism but I thought it was prefect
025. Super 8 - finally JJ Abrams gets it right.. Those kids were badass
026. Sin (2003) - waste of time, but Gary Oldman still rocked
027. The Education of Charlie Banks (2007)
028. Wall-E (2008) - I just love me an animation film. I don't know if there are others who think this way but I'd go see a disney pixar/dreamworks animation film waaaaay before I'd see a film by almost any actor.. Animation has far more credibility
