Being There (1979) - great little movie, charming 18. The Apartment (1960) - typically not my thing, but really well done so I ended up loving it 19. Dersu Uzala (1975) - without a doubt one of my all time favorites 20. Amadeus (1984) - another epic, I've been wanting to see it for a while, was not disappointed 21. Scarface (1983) - lmao, so terrible, but by the end of it I ended up sort of enjoying it 22. California Suite (1978) - Maggie Smith/Michael Caine story was good, Walter Matthau was great, the rest is garbage 23. All About Eve (1950) - expected it to be good, did not realize it was THAT good 24. The Bicycle Thieves (1948) - another classic that deserves its status 25. The Triplettes of Belleville (2003) - did not live up to my expectations, charming, but eh... 26. Shame (2011) - great, both Michael and Carrey were outstanding 27. My Neighbor Totoro (1988) - watched it without subtitles so I don't know if it counts, lol 28. Short Cuts (1993) - incredible piece of filmmaking by Altman, outstanding ensemble 29. Beauty and the Beast (1991) - it's 'greatness' is lost on me, it's no match to Pixar's best imo

30. The Grapes of Wrath (1940) - not only was it a great movie, it was a great history lesson too
31. Sleeping Beauty (1952) - I know these old Disney movies are 'classics', but I find them so terrible
32. Cinderella (1950) - same here
33. Pinocchio (1940) - not great, but teaches kids some good values, funnily enough those same values are rarely addressed in today's movies
34. Fiddler on the Roof (1971) - looong, but very satisfying experience, the songs are incredible
35. Lars and the Real Girl (2007) - someone on tFS actually recommended it, thank you, what a little gem; best Ryan Gosling performance
36. It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963) - it must be one of those movies that don't age well because I found it near impossible to watch
37. The Accidental Tourist (1988) - has its moments, but overall left very little in terms of positive impressions
38. Rear Window (1954) - sometimes you watch a classic and you 'get' it, other times you watch it and you just scratch you head in confusion; this one is of the latter variety
39. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly (1966) - somewhat fun, but as with Rear Window, doesn't deserve the masterpiece reputation it's acquired
40. The Fugitive (1993) - one of the funniest movies I've seen, and all unintentionally of course; hit every cliche in the book as far as action movies go
41. The Third Man (1949) - stylish, sophisticated, pretty, entertaining an frankly, pretty great
42. Unforgiven (1992) - for some reason I had a totally different idea of what this movie is about, lol, but it was a fun ride
43. Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) - I'm into the western movies a bit these days; this one was the best among the last three I saw, better than TGTBATU imo
44. Vsadnik Bez Golovy (The Headless Horseman) (1972) - I read the book a while back, but this one is hands down one of the worst movies ever
45. The Birds (1963) - pretty great, much better than Hitchcock's 'better' masterpiece Rear Window
