Wait, so people in the states aren't getting live coverage?

I've been getting up at 3am PST to watch Phelps swim

and then about 2 minutes later I go back to bed..

I feel as if the Ukrainians got cheated from that medal. They deserved it for sure.

well during the daytime hours from 10am(est) thru to the afternoon they broadcast everything live but it's those early evening hours(which are allotted for our local and national news broadcasts)that everything gets delayed. the problem is,we all this extensive coverage on other nbc-operated networks in those hours and they don't allow those specific competitions to be shown on any of them. it's embarrassing.

^I was going to mention that set of pictures on here.... it's so freaking hilarious. Now I'm starting to wonder if NBC is just trying to troll everyone after seeing this.

My sister and I nearly died of laughter when we saw these images of Tom on the tv. And I have to wonder if someone's shown him the screencaps, it's gotta be a bit awkward.

I agree. In genral I'm happy that there are so many "new faces" that are winning the competicions. It makes the games more interesting. My hero so far is Missy Franklin and off course Ruta Meilutyte.

I'm so happy than my country have 2 silvers of synchronized plataform 10m (yesterday men & women today), well deserve it.

And also i saw the Team Gymnastics for women, i felt sad with the russians, because all the girls start to cry & they think than are out of the porium of medals, well in the end their won the silver.

I'm shocking than the Chinese girls don't won any medal

,i mean they were the favorites of this discipline.

I'm so, so incredibly happy for Michael Phelps. Honestly, It's been so thrilling to follow his career. I can remember being on swim team and pretty much everyone idolizing Phelps (and all the girls having pictures of him in their lockers

) so to see him get 19 medals is quite special, not just for him but for all of us who've been following his career throughout the years.

And I'm so pleased that the US girls gymnastics team got gold! It was so amazing to watch. I think it's impossible not to watch those girls during the last routine and when they won and not grin ear to ear. They were so sweet. Though, it was a bit awful seeing the Russain girls crying, that's always a bit hard to watch.

he doesnt look really happy when he lost to that South African swimmer but he looked truly happy after he got that 1st gold medal (also thanks to his other teammates, esp Lochte I think--that man swam really fast in the 1st round)... I am just super super excited for him!!!! Whats more, what Sun Yang did was amazing, I am surprised about their third place in the match.
