Most of these don't hit UK screens for a while. I've not seen most of them yet but I hope to remedy that very soon.
I saw Frost/Nixon last night and it's probably Ron Howard's best film. The script is excellent, Sheen does well and Langella is definitely deserving of his nom. I've seen The Dark Knight. Good but will it win outside of technical noms? The only other one I've seen is In Bruges which was fun but I'm not sure about it winning anything. Blah at Mamma Mia. Not my thing at all. It's now the highest grossing film of all time at the UK box office!TV-wise I hope Dexter and Mad Men win. Still not had the second seasons her yet. |

They nominated everyone from VCB but Scarlett...I love her, she's a darling, but she needs to work on her actual acting skills.
Keeping fingers crossed for Kate and Amy. They so deserve it, they are two of the best actresses out there.

So the Globes are tonight, everyone do some last minute predictions!
I can see Slumdog Millionaire winning because it's sweeping up the critic awards, but sometimes the Globes like to be difference so if it's not that, then The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I'd love to see Anne Hathaway and Sally Hawkins win the acting categories (even though I must admit, I haven't seen the former!) P.S. Can a moderator change erase 'nominations' in the title? This can be the official Golden Globes thread!

I'm so happy Kate won both her nominations. I love how close she is with Leo. They really care for eachother. It's sweet actually.
