Notice we didn't have a non-shopping related Berlin thread so here goes..
Great place to eat :
PIZZERIA I DUE FORNI Schönhauser Allee 12 10119 Berlin (u-bahn stop : senefelderplatz) - Cheap, great, fun, noisy and gooood food (pizza the way it should be).
Berlin Accommodation, Eating out, Nightlife etc...
and when you at at that Pizzeria (I also think it is nice), you can go to the White Trash Fast Food, just a view steps away (http://www.whitetrashfastfood.com/), which is actually a very nice place!
Have fun!
I'm going to Berlin next week, I love it! I don't know the city that well, but I have a few tips: There's a really good restaurant (though a bit expensive) called Pan Asian in the Hackeschen Maerkten which serves great sushi rolls I prefer the East Berlin neighborhoods, like Prenzlauer Berg, which are trendier but less crowded.

I'm going to Berlin in October.. I was thinking of visiting Rio (the club) but read that it had closed
Could anyone recommend me a similar venue ?
Much appreciated

Berlin is filled with bars and clubs.. My favorite one, Rio, is unfortunately closed (if anyone could recommend me a similar club for my next visit I'd be much obliged )
White Trash Fast Food is a bar/club institution, it's located on Schönhauser allee.. but there tends to be a lot of tourists there..
One place I wanted to go, but never got around to is the chocolate restaurant Fassbender & Rausch
Is WTFF cool.. depends on your definition of cool..
Here's their homepage http://www.whitetrashfastfood.com/
Reviews here, here, here.. and there's lenty more where those reviews came from..
i'm going to berlin on 24 th June and coming back on 28th... is there anything special happening there? Sadly I can't be there on sunday so I'll miss out flea markets boohoo
plus
I want to take street style pictures for my blog...where should I go and look for people Mitte? but anywhere else?
edit... oh and where are the best underground clubs?
I'm going to Berlin in early May and I was wondering if anyone can suggest the right area to stay at, in terms of proximity to nightlife, sight-seeing and shopping... (or maybe I should be looking to proximity to public transport?)
It seems like the city is quite spread-out without a defined center which is giving me a hard time to understand which area will be most suitable for my city-break with firends...
Yes we did find a cute one in the Mitte...
I'd love to know about the galleries too... generally, it would be great to know the non-tourist places one should visit in order to get the true (underground?) Berlin vibe...
I got ahold of local mag Tip Berlinhttp://www.tip-berlin.de/ which is a sort of a 'Time Out' sort of publication that gave some pointers on what new exhibits were worth visiting etc..
I had dinner at Rutz http://www.rutz-weinbar.de/ a fab winebar + restaurant in Berlin (for it's size Berlin has very few top notch restaurants) mentioned I believe in the latest edition of the Michellin Guide to European cities .
i'm going to Berlin next week. does anyone know any really 'cool' bars or places where you can dance that only locals know, that you can't find online or in any tourist guide?
