Mexican media is usually no the most humble or objective about their team and players. And they are invited by Conmebol also it was USA but they declined īcause Concacaf donīt let them bring their A team just an U-22 team for Copa America. Instead they invited Japan but they also declined because of the Tsunami and the european teams didnīt lend their star players for the Cup, so they invited Costa Rica as an emergency.

was i the only one that kind of predicted that Argentina was going to be flat against Bolivia? i feel the 6-1 is still somewhere over there, still is one match, 2 left.

Still, i'm routing for my beloved country, Chile

i remember reading somewhere that they even wanted to invite Spain, but everyone was against it, because it was like giving them the cup. Which was not fair for the american countries.

I donīt think they are scared, but itīs called Copa "America", Spain and Japan have nothing to do in there. Although I think Paraguay wouldīve love to play Spain again, and I still havenīt watched Brazil v. Spain .
BTW Colombia won 1 - 0 to Costa Rica, making them the liders of Group A, at the moment.

Now that Argentina has lost the thing , i think the cup is between Chile and Brazil, although Uruguay is also a rival.

I'm also wanting my beloved Chile to win this competition.

i wouldn't be so sure about myself thinking that Brazil are Argentina arent really a threat anymore because they didn't won, we have to remember Spain lost his first match against Switzerland on the last world cup.

So far after the first round of the group fase goes like this:

Group A
Colombia: 3
Argentina: 1
Bolivia: 1
Costa Rica: 0

Group B
Brazil: 1
Ecuador: 1
Paraguay: 1
Venezuela: 1

Group C
Chile: 3
Peru: 1
Uruguay: 1
Mexico: 0

For wednesday Argentina vs Colombia and for thursday Bolivia vs Costa Rica.

^ Itīs just the first round, Argentina isnīt eliminated yet. But so far the best games have been the ones in group C, being Chile the team that has played the best football in the cup.

This has been the hardest tournament to predict, each game has been a box full of surprises. :p

I dont think is that much of hard to predict, it will definetely be between Colombia and Chile.
Or at least i hope Chile wins ahaha.
It looks silly to be talking in english, if this is a thread of 99.9% of spanish speakers i guess lol.

I know we should open the "Spanish language" thread or something, because itīs hard for me mention the positions of the players in english, I know how to call it in spanish and some in italian, but english not so much.
Good to see Argentina getting their stuff together, but remember they were playing Costa Rica U-23 not the best team in the Copa.
I like the Copa America at the moment, Chile and Colombia are my bet for the final, yes no Brazil and no Argentina will be a nice change from the last two Copa America.
I want to post the video of Tano Pasman so bad, but it has too much swearing, but its so good to watch it.
