hello i am travelling to copenhagen from brussels on saturday and i will be there for 10 days. is there anything i should know, see, nlhalbhalbhlabhalbhalh let me know!
Hi,
I am going to study in Copenhagen, Denmark during spring 2007 semester. Well I havent made my final decision but I just found out that I was accepted. The mroe I think about going away for 6 months with no one that I know, the more scared I get. I love traveling and going away but Ive never been alone ever. Im very nervous. Sometimes i think im way too impulsive! Anyway I was hoping for some advice, thoughts, opinions on this city. I heard that the winter is freezing. What is there to do? Any places that I must go to? Thanks in advace!
I have lived all my life in Copenhagen and I still like it here. There has happened so much in the last ten years: new architecture, design, fashion, places to go...
I saw that there was another Copenhagen thread but it was mainly about shopping so I didn't think it was really appropriate to post in.
I'm thinking about doing an exchange to Copenhagen in Jan 2009. I have to apply to my school by Jan 14 with my 3 choices (Paris and Sydney is an option too) in order to go in 2008/2009. I was just wondering since Copenhagen seemed interesting what people thought about the city in general, what's good to do there? What are people like there? Is it as expensive as I hear it as being?
A big part of it would be how it'd be living there especially for someone who is 19 or 20 and going to school. Also, what is the University of Copenhagen like? Is it a good school? Does anyone know more about this? In general basically all i'm asking is what you all think of Copenhagen and if anyone has had an amazing experience there, or lives/has lived there and what they can tell me about the place because I don't know a lot about Denmark.
Sorry if that sounds like alot, I thought this would be a good place for suggestions and commentary since everyone here is so helpful and generally has a good POV.
Thanks in advance.

As far as I know KU - Københavns Universitet (University of Copenhagen) is quite good. It features on Time Education's list of best 100 schools around the world. But obvious, it depends on what you'll be studying.
