this is ridiculous, some people are so sad!! I hate that someone that is literally at the top of her game gets slammed so much, i have to admit that the tofu pie was funny but this is wrong!I am glad to say that i have morals and values, thanks mom!

^well, i don't think that the idea of the movie is to slam her. somebody wrote a book based on experience with a famous person, someone else thought it could become a fun movie and there you go. now, it's too obvious it's about anna but who cares. in the end it's just a movie

Anna Wintour can just blame herself.I don't think this is going to be a good film, just entertaining. That's all I'm waiting for.

Any one who has every been in an internship or assistant position, especially in the fashion industry or film industry can relate to this book, that's why i liked it so much! You realize everyone has to start at the bottom, it's life, and it'll be entertaining to watch on the big screen!

I believe the story line is good... it's basically a fictional satire on the Fashion Industry.

It's true, it's almost a big whinge and undoubtedly similarities (obvious similarities) occur with Anne Wintour and Miranda Priesley.
Keep in mind despite our speculations she's declared the book a fictional piece of writing.

I also agree with the other comments that it was poorly written.. it could've been less colloquial and more tasteful in terms of style. I mean for a college graduate who's studied English I sort of expected more from Lauren in terms of her writing.

I found out after I read the book that it was "inspired" by Laurens' period of employment at Conde Nast. So I read it again with the mockings in mind.

I hope the film doesn't fall short of expectations... or over do it.

Oddly enough this is just another Candence Bushnell selling pop-literature to the film and television industry...

Imagine a Devil Wears Prada series? *shudders*
