Film Awards Season 2014-2015
I know it's early but Cannes is just around the corner, so I'm curious to see everyone's predictions for awards season!

Plus it's kind of fun to see what everyone thinks will do well at the start of the year, as there is always some fall outs - see August Osage County last year.

My early predictions for Best Picture:
1. A Most Violent Year
2. Unbroken
3. Gone Girl
4. Inherent Vice
5. Big Eyes
6. Birdman
7. Boyhood
8. Foxcatcher
9. Wild
10. Interstellar

I'm most excited for Gone Girl, A Most Violent Year and Interstellar. I would also include Carol (with Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett) but as it's still filming, I'm not sure it will get finished in time.

A good blog for predictions is found here:

(Also this is the first time I've created a thread - sorry if I've done it wrong!)

Thanks for creating this thread Your picks are really interesting, I have to confess I didn't know about most of the films but it's exciting to hear about them Given the directors involved, I think most sound like the kind of material award season favours
