Upon further consideration I think the person they are speaking of that Serena is protecting is Jenny, I cant wait for the ep!

yeah what in the world are they going to do with Vanessa? Have here put moves on Dan again? They've pretty much regulated her to being just a friend. Unless she gets hit on and Dan gets suddenly jealous...
