Yeah, I don't really know how good this will be. The strenghts of the book lies in the writing, not the storyline. It will be hard to not make this DESIGNER CLOTHES (with occasional acting and storylines.)

I really want to see how it will turn out. It's kinda hard to succeed. Serena is a big no no for me. That girl is cute, not even beautiful (imo), and Serena is supposed to be STUNNING.

Anyway, i think it will air next season. September or something.

They initially called me in to audition for Serena (). But I ended up reading for both serena and blair.

I'm torn wether to look at the link or not, because I love the books so much, it will kind of ruin how I imagined the characters. But at the same time a TV series would be amazing, anyone know if theres plans to air in the UK?

Jenny is 14 in the books, and so is the actress they have cast.

Anyway, everyone that was cast has a ton of credits, so it looks like they went for people with experience.

Woohoo- finally! I remember when the rumor was that lindsay lohan was going to play blair in a movie...
and that was like 2 years ago...funny now its a t.v series.
Im sure ill watch it out of curiousity, sice ive read all of the books
but judging from the cast...im sure it wont be like how i saw it in the book.
i hope they dont turn it into something cheap and trashy.

The cast is so different to how I pictured the characters. Blake Lively is a good actress and she's the only one I think would actually suit her character.
