I've obssessively kept up, but I just don't like that coupling and I hope I don't see it when the finale comes around.

Last year, ABC shook up Thursday night by moving its top-rated drama, “Grey’s Anatomy,” into the 9 p.m. slot. The network has dominated the night ever since. Now NBC is rumored to be mulling a similarly bold move to revive ratings on a night it long dominated but in recent years has fallen way behind. The big change: Sliding “Heroes,” the season’s top-rated new show among adults 18-49, into the 10 p.m. timeslot the long-fading “ER” once ruled as TV’s most-watched show. “Heroes” currently airs Monday at 9 p.m.

NBC decides it needs more 'Heroes'


NEW YORK, May 14: A spinoff of NBC's popular "Heroes" will air this fall, the network announced in New York Monday.

While the focus this spring has been on the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, NBC was quietly developing "Heroes: Origins," which will air when the smash goes into hiatus, Variety reported. Theimportant network ordered six episodes of "Heroes: Origins."

"Heroes: Origins" will focus on characters not yet seen on the parent show. In addition, NBC added an interactive element in which viewer-selected characters will join the cast of "Heroes" in the following season.

The network's new 2007-08 season so far includes five new dramas, a new comedy, a new game show and a new reality competition.
