Anna Karenina- keira and Jude were good in it! it was quite ok. nothing mind blowing.

Life Of Pi- this was scary to see because i love that book so so so much. but it was so well done and i love Richard Parker and Suraj did amazing job as Pi.
this film did not disapoint, it is one of my favorites.

Django Unchained (2012): Witty, Funny, extremely well directed and once again an incredible cast with magical performances. Tarantino hits and strikes again

Green Zone - Paul Greengrass transplants his Jason Bourne crew into Iraq as Matt Damon searches for WMD. Weirdly this film seemed to lack some impact for me because so many people were doubtful about the intel at the time that I think the characters are certainly more surprised at the outcome than the viewer. But it's decently made.

Juan of the Dead - comedy horror. Zombies invade Cuba. The big joke is that the government try to pass off the undead as "US-supported dissidents". I think this may contain a fair few in-jokes about Cuban life that went over my head. Lead characters are incredibly amoral. Has some laugh-out-loud moments but can't rise above mediocre overall.

I saw Anna Karenina tonight. Really beautiful costumes. I love the theater scenery too.

Zero Dark Thirty - This movie for me is one this awards season that has really lived up to the hype. I think it's wonderfully made.

Haywire - Steven Soderbergh sees a woman on TV winning an MMA bout. He decides to make an action movie with her in the lead role. He covers over her lack of acting experience by surrounding her with a dream cast of male movie stars. Plot is perfunctory, but the fight scenes have a nice realism to them. Short and to the point.

Flight - First 20 mins are really good, including the fantastic crash sequence. I'm not totally sold on the rest of it. But I'm pleased to see Denzel taking on a role with more depth after a few years making forgettable action flicks.

Finally saw Les Miserables two days ago! I know it got a lot of buzz, but I feel like it is really underrated on a critical level. It was just such a well-made movie, especially the acting and directing.
