A Tale of Two Sisters (Korea 2003) - dreamy, strange and sad. I don't really see it as a horror film. I know there are horrific moments, but it seems more tragic than a typical horror film, sadder.

The Hobbit - I liked LOTR but the trailer for The Hobbit wasn't exciting me at all. However now I finally got around to seeing it I actually really enjoyed it. Once it gets going it's a lot of fun. And a small reminder in a later scene of what a great character Gollum is.

Lincoln - DDL nails it. You forget it's him which is an achievement. Supporting cast fantastic. I know a few who were bored by this film but I wasn't bored at all. Last five mins felt unnecessary.

Reykjavik-Rotterdam - The lead actor in this recently directed the American remake, Contraband. OK movie but low production values let it down.

Mademoiselle Chambon - Drama/romance. So much restraint on display, it's almost British! Very good.

Django Unchained - I think it's Tarantino's most consistent film for ages and very enjoyable for it. Samuel L Jackson is incredible in this.

Side Effects...absolutely brilliant! It kind of reminded me of the movie, Closer (with Natalie Portman, Jude Law, etc.), because of the way it takes its time and just when you think you've got it figured out...it completely surprises you. Loved it!

Warm Bodies...Wonderful movie!! It was so well done and it had the perfect blend of comedy, scary, action, and romance.
