American Psycho.

Was showing it to a friend who hadn't seen it, I've watched it before and it's brilliant. Disturbing, but brilliant.

Safety Not Guaranteed-- really really good story and acting... I thought it would be kind of cute and quirky but it was quite layered. Liked it a lot

Weekend (2011)
great movie and not your typical love story. I really recommend it!

Amelie (2001) - Just perfect.

The Watch (2012) - F*cking lame.

Skyfall - I think this is up there with the best Bond movies. A great quality cast and crew elevates it. You actually get character development! Javier Bardem is fun and has a great entrance. And the ending goes all Peckinpah.

Love Exposure - Hard to know where to start with this. It's from Japan and is four hours long. That might seem daunting but it breezes by. It's gloriously insane. Deals with themes such as Catholicism, family bonds, religious cults, love and the martial art of up-skirt photography(!). If you are looking for something a bit outside the usual that pushes a few boundaries then check it out. The 'Making Of' is also quite an eye-opener.

The Hours

I had embarrassingly high expectations for this film that were undoubtedly met.

Take This Waltz - Awww I get it. I really do. I loved the primary colours; I like that Polley says you gotta like the ride yourself, first, before you can be happy. I think it was poignant and well acted and lovely.
