Thor the dark world, entertaining enough, but really nothing special.

Oh, and before this one The Hunger Games catching fire, what an overrated movie! Overall the same as part one, but much less entertaining, the first hour was even boring.

Untouchables (1987)

I haven't seen it in years! Kevin Costner was rather hot in it.

I agree! I haven't read the books but I like the first movie, but the second was just reiterative, and boring.

The last movie I saw was Captain Phillips. I liked it.

Dallas Buyers Club. Loved it! Matthew and Jared both deserve the Oscar in my opinion.

August: Osage County. I didn't like it at all.

^ weird and prescient. I own that film, and Copote - was debating which one to watch.

I mean, what films has he made that feature women, and more to the point, if there are any women in his films, what kinds of roles do they have? No very positive, I'll say that!
absolutely.

i agree with miss dalloway as well, Leo (and the entire cast, really) were committed to their roles and the acting was, all in all, very good. still, that wasn't enough to excuse the blatant misogyny. and i don't buy this 'they were just showing you what it was like at the time!' argument either. there's a line there somewhere. i think the worst part for me were all the men around me in the theatre laughing in moments where, as a woman, i was completely appalled. it made the whole thing even worse.
