Seems like everyone likes Gates of Avalon? I like that one too. Did anyone start watching series 3? it's on syfy every friday at 10 for US viewers and it should be in Australia soon too

Btw, we will see the guess star in this episode , Holliday Grainger , as one of the main characters in the upcoming serie The Borgias , made by the same producers of The Tudors.

^She's quite pretty, and did a fantastic job in that role. When watching that episode I thought I recognized her from somewhere, but I'm not sure exactly where.

I remember her from Sparkhouse, where she played Richard Armitage's step-daughter, and then in one episode of Robin Hood, where she played Richard Armitage's love interest. Given Hollywood's ageism, in ten years' time, she'll be probably be playing his mother.

Yep, I've finished season 3. I'm just going to drop the hint that at the end of the season, 2 ships are going to come to a crashing halt.

i love gates of avalon because it was visually stunning. Yes holliday will be in the borgias, which i'm very excited for.

I'm an arthur/morgana fan so after season 1, I was pretty confused

It seems they tried so hard to hype it up in Australia, and then no-one really watched it and most people thought it was lame.

Are those screen caps from the first season? Or is there a second?

ETA: I've just read the above comnet that there are at least 3 seasons!

^I don't think Merlin has done so well here in America either... I mean I love the show... but whenever I mention it to friends they are like... what??? You know, I think this is my geeky side coming out, I'm such a sucker for literature/myth based stories and Merlin certainly fits the bill.

yes i agree ,the enviroment, the photography, the castle (a chateau in France actually) and the clothing are very nice ( not as good as The Tudors clothing though, the best i've seen in a movie).I specially like Morgana's cloaks , why are not those cloaks fashionable anymore ? they are gorgeous , and the same for those fairy tale like dresses , what a step back in fashion they are not used anymore

Yes the show is so lovely and I agree with you on the wardrobe. I just keep staring at Morgana's dresses but sometimes...just sometimes they look a little cheap.

I was wondering if the show was ever going to come back or if it got shelved away somewhere without my knowledge. Although, come to think of it, British tv does tend take longer to air then in the states. But then again, they have often have better quality shows... so I guess it's worth the wait.
