I'm not much of a crier, but these movies got me the first time and everytime after.

1. Beaches (I know, so typical)
2. The Color Purple
3. Babmi
4. The Deer Hunter

Philadelphia-I can't even watch that film-I just start crying 20 minutes in because I see this pained look on Tom Hanks' face and he's so good at making you believe he is that victim that you forget he's actually just a really good actor and it's not real. I saw him on the Performance channel once, being interviewed by a bunch of NY Drama students, and the interviewer told him that only a handful of extras that were used in the film were still alive, because they had used people who actually had AIDS. So Hanks started telling this story of how he was talking to this one extra and how he worked in a noodle factory, and all throughout his illness, even when he was hooked up to a machine, he still went to work in the factory, and Hanks started crying, and said that he found it hard to watch the film, because he remembers the guy from the noodle factory. It was so awful, and then you realise that the film is real, and that that actually happens to people.

On a much lighter note, I do cry at literally everything. I'm so emotional. I cried during Pretty Woman too.

When I was younger, "An American Tale" and "The Land Before Time" wrecked me. "A.I." is the film now that leads me to practically sob everytime I see it, especially the end and when the mom leaves David in the woods. "Steel Magnolias", "Terms of Endearment", "Beaches", "Fried Green Tomatoes", and pretty much any other movie where a mom/daughter/child/best friend dies of a terminal sickness upset me, but don't make me cry anymore.

Out of Africa, Beaches and Steel Magnolias always makes me cry every single time. Lame but true.

So basically "Steel Magnolias" and "Beaches" turn everyone to mush from what I've gathered. "A.I." is also doing a good job.
