The OC has been going downhill since the middle of season 2 I think. I think it will probably be cancelled after the next series anyway because I've heard the viewing figures are really low compared to when it first started.

I didnt mean that all that I wrote IS HAPPENING-I meant this is what SHOULD HAPPEN-just to wrap the show up nicely in the end.
I forgot Ryan,he goes back to being a drifter and leaves at the end of the new and last season to get revenge on Marissa's killer because she IS his tormented,true love soul mate.Thats how it should end.
I bet Marissa's sister is going to try to go for Ryan,since she was so jealous of Marissa.I cant stand that girl.

Everything is going to be so different without Marissa. This is crazy! Although she's messed around with Ryan's life enough, it's going to be nothing like what it use to...

kissmesweet-No,I do not know it will happen,something in the last show just made me think of it as a possibility.It would be a sweet ending for the show-I'm just guessing what may end up happening-i have no information.

I don't understand why they got rid of Marissa! One of the only uncheesy parts of the show is the ryan/marissa relationship- well when they are together atleast...

so true but it just wouldnt be right for them to get married and have the happy ending-its too boring,its more romantic for her to die alone in his arms,young and mixed up.....etc.

IMO, I think it was a smart move for Mischa Barton to get out of that show early as possible, that is if it is true that her charactor has been killed off the show. I'm saying this is good, because if Mischa is looking for something more, such as a carreer in films, she wouldn't want to stick around O.C. too long, or she will be typed-cast and make it harder for her to break out into the big screen. I could see her doing some indie films for a while, and build herself up. Kind of like actress Zooey DeChanel......

but heyy remember at the end of season 2 we all think ryan's brother was dead and in the beginning of season 3 he was alive sooo the same can happen with marissa...though if it's true that mischa said her character dies I guess it could be true ..maybe is a publicity trick

^i have a feeling she really did die. There was an article about it in Us Weekly talking about if it was Mischa's decision or the producer's decision.
