It was great!!! Even though it was only the last 20-25 minutes that were in 3D... it was still very intense, since obviously that was the most intense part of the book!! Although it was a little hard not to giggle when the characters seemed so close that I could touch them!

I'm also suuuper excited for the book, can't wait to get my book at the midnight opening hahahaha the bookstore I'm getting it from is so decked out, it's going to be amazing.

Okay, i just saw Phoenix yesterday. I thought the effects were amazing, but I thought the movie itself was just a waste of a movie. The actors and everything were great, but the movie was missing something. After it ended I didn't feel completely satisfied, and it left me wanting more. I felt nothing really important happened...Does anyone else agree?

midnight showing of the movie = probably the most fun a girl can have. a girl obsessed with harry potter and clothes, equaling most fantastic costume ever.
the thing about the movie is that it is impossible to seperate from the harry hypermania and the books, so it really doesn't matter (for me, anyways) if this movie was so convoluted and choppy and underdeveloped because there is the book to even things out.
but the point is... did anyone else notice that both Regulus Black and the Locket were left out???? and yet Rowling made them keep Kreature... only eight more days but now i am rethinking all my hp theories which is so so so dreadful.

I don't think I've actually realized yet that in 9 days, I'll be reading the last Harry Potter book. I just can't believe it.

Once I have it in my hands though, I'll probably be too excited to read.

Do you read the books?
i no i always feel that way in the back of my head after walking out of the cinema because i come in with such high expectations.
Imagining it to be exactly like the book and how i pictured it all in my head . The book gives us so much depth that thats what i want in the movie.

I did feel they rushed it a little (like when umbridge was taking over ) , but i spose they have to.
i dunno , thats what i think happens anyway .

^i agree. after seeing this movie i promised myself never to read the book right before the movie comes out because then my expectations are too high. the movie really was terrific, but i kept remembering things that should have happened and things that never happened

Lack of Draco, teenage Marauders and coming-to-live-gold-fountain aside, I adored the movie It's my favourite so far.

I LOVED OTP. I was disappointed that Dumbledore seemed so weak against Voldemort.

When the 7th book come out, is this thread going to contain spoilers?
