^That's pretty crazy. But who knows, anything could happen...
Well JK Rowling said one of the survivors will return to teach at Hogwarts, someone we don't expect.

and since we will never think of Harry, it's a good guess.

I could so imagine Ron as a teacher..
Ron: "Madam Pomfrey, Madam Pomfrey - I poisoned one of the students again..."

I think Neville will definitely be a teacher at Hogwarts. (I don't see him dying, either.)

I actually think we'll see Ron and Hermione together early on in the book.

I'm mostly excited about Harry/Ginny. And I want to read more about Neville and hopefully Lily and James.

I agree that it was rushed. That's probably because HPOP is the biggest book of the series. It's seriously huge.
I felt it was the only HP movie that you could not totally understand if you had not read the book beforehand.
Yet, it was a good complement to the book because it helps visualise some of the most abstract parts of the book. Case in point: the duel between Dumbledore and Tom. In the book, it felt hazy and quite unimpressive, but seeing it on screen, I nearly got goosebumps: so damn well done. Actually, the whole minister scene was great. I felt that way too when I first saw a game of quidditch on screen: it gives a whole new perspective, no?
Oh, and Imelda and Evanna were the casts of the century: absolutely awesome, both of them.

Day and sarah13 I agree with you that Neville will be the next Herbology teacher at Hogwarts. Just my personal theory. Also, my theory about Harry is that he'll become a famous professional Quiddich player. After all he's been through so far and will go through in Deathly Hallows I think he's going to just want to have fun in life.

I just watched it...I dont know how I feel about. I know they have to miss bits out to make the film shorter but changing things completely I did not agree with. I suppose because I'm so obsessed with the books it was a disappointment

^About the film. I thought it was the best one out of 5, I was disappointed that Dumbledore seemed weak in his battle with Voldemort.

Some thoughts on the movie:
  • To know me is to know that I'm obsessed with Harry/Ginny and just Ginny in general, so I wasn't too happy about that. I think Bonnie Wright could do so well with the role of Ginny if they just let her. I like the showing of her powers though.
  • Harry and Ginny date in the next book -- how are they going to set that up without it feeling rushed now??
  • After everyone's ravings about Luna, I was really excited. I think she looks the part, but the voice is wayyy too high and girly, or something. Not whimsical like I imagined.
  • Emma Watson can not act. At all. She's overly dramatic at all times. (Less of these though.)
  • Rupert Grint, however, is totally .
  • I'm neutral about Daniel Radcliffe. I like him better when he's not playing Harry.

Daniel is actually good in the 5th one!! I haven't got a complain about him for the first time! I loved the movie!

Although 1) WTF at Dumbledore. I mean, they even took his glasses this time and he still needs to chill. Dumbledore is just so calm. Imagine the next one, the cup scene. He'll be frantic.
2) Emma does too many weird twitches with her face. She toned down the eyebrows, though.
3) That's it. I'm amazed.
