US version is 784 pages and the UK version is 608 pages.

I've heard so many different spoilers that I don't believe any of them, no matter how legit they seem. It's sad that some people are having so much fun trying to spoil this book for people who care so much about it.

Personally, I hope that this is the ending:

I saw a similar one but I can't find the picture:

"Everybody dies. Scar."

(Because the last word was scar, but it's changed now according to JKR.)

I have started a thread for spoilers about Deathly Hallows to be posted in, please keep ALL spoilers out of this thread and save your fellow tFS'ers some heartache if they haven't read the book yet!

^ Thank you! I was wondering whether or not it would be okay to post my opinion on the book once I've read it I was going to do it in that creamy-white colour but... yay. Now I don't have to bother

I just spent the past three hours reading theories and interviews.

Two days, 10 hours, 26 minutes, and 22 seconds.

I finally got to watch the movie yesterday night and it was so good. Imelda Staunton as Prof. Umbridge was an excellent choice, as well as Bellatrix Lestrange and Luna Lovegood. Though, I thought the ending was really abrupt and a lot of scenes were left out. Brilliant movie, still.

I am so excited for the book, I think I'm gonna go find myself some theories and interviews to read as well. I just re-read the 6th book and I am so restless, I need that book to come out... NOW.

I'm glad to hear the movie was good. I thought it would turn out "unsatisfactory", but I heard otherwise and am now very eager to see it, especially now that I am back in the Harry Potter spirit.

I spent ages cruising around the imdb Harry Potter boards without clicking a single link.

Alas, curiosity got to me and I saw some spoilers which I DID NOT LIKE. Luckily, I was told that they were fake.

Whew because I saw a happy ending and I don't want that!

^I think I'll just do a scar. I used to have the 'perfect' replica of what Harry wore on the cover of the US edition of HP1, but I grew out of it years ago...

It's good entertainment, definitely. It just doesn't stick to the book that much, which is the only critic I have to make.
The reactions during the movie were quite funny and from what I've read on imdb, Fudge's classic line 'He's back' was universally met by laugher and derision. People actually clapped in my theatre, it was so well done.
Call me obssessed, but I'm off to see it for the second time. I need easy entertainment and I'd rather spend my pop-corn money on that rather than, say, on Transformers

New, Pre-Book 7 List-

Movies (Best to Worst):
1. Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Order pf Pheonix
3. Goblet of Fire
4. Sorcerer's Stone
5. Chamber of Secrets

Books (Best to Worst):
1. Goblet of Fire
2. Half Blood Prince
3. Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Order of the Pheonix
5. Sorcerer's Stone
6. Chamber of Secrets

I'm sure Deathly Hallows will be my all time favorite HP book, even if it sucks. Because it's the end of the series!!

That costume sounds awesome. This is my first midnight release party. I'm super excited. I still have to make a prop of The Quibbler. Haha. I need to think of some awesome articles for it first though.
