Actually, our current lovely Miss Universe spoke no English last year- but living in NY in an apartment with Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, she seems to be doing pretty good at this point!

OMG, I'm so sorry, yes of course I meant Miss Philippines

I didn't know the current Miss Universe didn't speak any English when she won. Her English is quite good now! I've never watched the actual contest before, so I don't know what the girls have to do on the show, but don't they have to answer questions and such? I thought your English had to be good to even get through the show without embarassing yourself.
BTW, will there be a live stream of the event? As far as I know it's not being broadcast by any of the TV channels I get.

Yes, Miss Ireland looks amazing in the swimsuit picture but truly awful in all the others! Shame about the botox lips.

^ Doesn't NBC own Hulu? I'm sure if it isn't on NBC.com or Telemundo's website Hulu will have it soon enough... (NBC owns the pageant along with Trump...)
